The second block house is where I spent growing up, it sure did not look like this back in the early 40’s, and rent there was 75 cents a week we lived in the second apartment from the right it was known as 50 Cross street, and John Goryle the base ball player lived in the first apartment it was number 48, he was older than I was but we still grew up together.
